Michael Jackson – Too Young

Produced by Hal Davis
Composed by Sylvia Dee and Sidney Lippman

A cover featured on Michael’s solo album, Music & Me, issued in April 1973 in the US and July 1973 in the UK.

It was released as a single in a limited number of countries, including Italy and Mexico. The Italian sleeve, incorrectly, translates the title as I Wasn’t Born Yet.

Too Young – Lyrics

They try to tell us
We’re too young
Too young
To really be in love
They say that love’s a word
A word we’ve only heard
But can’t begin to know the meaning of
And yet we’re not too young to know
This love will last
Though years may go
And then someday they may recall
We were not too young at all

(They try to tell us we’re too young)
(Too young to really mean love)

And yet
We’re not too young to know
This love will last though years may go
And then someday they may recall
We were not too young at all
