Michael Jackson – In The Back

Written and recorded by Michael between 1994-2004.

It was scheduled to feature on Michael’s 1997 album, Blood On The Dance Floor, until Superfly Sister replaced it – early press releases listed it as one of the tracks on the album.

It then remained unreleased until it was included in the box-set, The Ultimate Collection, issued in November 2004.

In The Back – Lyrics

You’re just preaching the Bible and they still speakin you’re a liar
And you still deal with the fires
That they made…

dah dah dah dah dah
dah dah dah dah dah
dah dah dah dah dah, and you
dah dah dah dah dah
dah dah dah dah dah
dah dah dah dah dah

Why you wanna get me?
Dreams don’t last forever…oh no !
Why you wanna fix me?
See, if the police don’t take it
God forsake it
I can’t take it

Why you stab me in the back?

We’re so gonna loose
And she, knows they got this to be
She… I dah dah dah dah dah

dah dah dah dah dah
dah dah dah dah dah
dah dah dah dah dah and She
dah dah dah dah dah
dah dah dah dah dah
dah dah dah dah dah

Why you wanna get me?
This dude won’t last forever
Why you wanna hit me?
See, if the police don’t take it
God forsake it
I’ll fell breaking

Why you stab me in the back?

Why you wanna fix me?
Dreams don’t last forever…oh nooo
Why you wanna get me?
?????????????????????
Why you wanna get me ?
?????????????????????
Why you wanna get me?
See, if the police don’t take it
God forsake it
I wan’t take it
Why you stab me in the back?
