The Jackson 5 – Lookin’ Through The Windows

Title track of a Jackson 5 album released in May 1972 in the US and October 1972 in the UK.

It charted at no.5 on the R&B singles chart and no.16 on the Hot 100 in the US, and no.9 in the UK.

It was promoted on several American TV shows, including American Bandstand, Soul Train and The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour. In the UK, it was performed on Top Of The Pops, whilst the Jackson 5 were in the UK, as part of their European concert tour.

A live version was featured on the Michael/Jackson 5 Live! album, issued in September 1988 in the UK (no USA release). All songs on the album were recorded at a concert on 30th April 1973, at the Osaka Koseinenkin Hall in Japan. It was also included on the limited edition CD, In Japan!, released by Hip-Select in 2004 – only 5000 copied pressed.
