Jackson 5 – It’s Your Thing
A song the Jackson 5 performed during their first ever TV appearance on the Miss Black America Pageant, staged at Madison Square Garden in New York, on 22nd August 1969 – the clip was included on Michael’s home video, The Legend Continues…, released in 1988 (1989 in USA).
It was recorded by the Jackson 5 for Motown on 7th August 1969 and remained unreleased until June 1995, when it was one of 19 ‘Rare & Unreleased’ tracks on the fourth CD of the Michael/Jackson 5 box-set, Soulsation!
The box-set was promoted in the States by the release of a seven track promo 12" single, featuring It’s Your Thing.
