Produced by Mel Larson and Jerry Marcellino
Composed by Oscar Hammerstein II and Jerome Ker
This is a track on Michael's third solo album, Music & Me, released in April 1973 in the US and July 1973 in the UK as well as on the B-side of Too Young, issued as a single in Italy in 1973.
It's also included on the tribute album Motown Celebrates Sinatra, released in 1998, which also features a shot of Michael dressed as Frank Sinatra on the sleeve (taken from the 1971 TV special, Diana!). The same photo was used on the sleeve of Michael's Swedish single, Rockin' Robin.
All The Things You Are - Lyrics
You are the promised kiss of springtime
That makes the lonely winter seem long
You are the breathless hush of evening
That trembles on the brink of a lovely song
You are the angel glow that lights a star
The dearest things I know are what you are
Some day my happy arms will hold you
And some day I’ll know that moment divine
When all the things you are, are mine
You are the angel glow that lights a star
The dearest things I know are what you are
Some, some, some, some day
My happy arms will hold you
And some day I’ll know that moment divine
When all the things you are, are mine
All the things you are, are mine
All the thing you are going mine
