Written by Michael with Bill Bottrell, and recorded by Michael with special guest Slash - from Guns N' Roses - on guitar.

"He sent me a tape of the song that had no guitars other than some slow picking," said Slash. "I called him and sang over the phone what I wanted to do."

Slash, at the time, was just leaving for Africa, so he and Michael managed to work it out so they could record Slash's contribution when he returned from Africa. "I basically went in and started to play - thet was it," said Slash. "Michael just wannted whatever was in my style. He just wanted me to do that - no pressure. He was really in synch with me."

Bill Bottrell put in some great production on this track. Because he had his hand in there it ended up sounding perfect. He had the magic touch and had everything levelled up nicely. He's been doing it for so long. He's the best with microphones, and knowing where to sit the instruments on the track. He's really good.

I also like Bruce Swedien who mixed some tracks on this album. I'd never worked with Brucey before that. But I always ask for him as an engineer after working with him on this.

Give In To Me is one of many songs Michael sings w/ such heart & emotion, he makes me feel as if he's singing it straight to me! It's a beautiful song, w/ a beautiful melody. The addition on guitar by Slash is like the "icing on the cake". Michael produced the most wonderful music this world will ever be fortunate enough to ever again enjoy. What a tragic & terribly sad ending for the life of an angel on earth.

May God's justice prevail, in his time. I pray I'm fortunate enough to witness it. I'll always be your number 1 admirer MJ.

Pour moi, c'est la chanson la plus addictive de MJ : trop sensuelle, magique : la voix de Michael, la guitare de Slash . Seems like they got it : that unreachable perfection. Dès la 1ère fois où j'ai vu la vidéo, je suis devenue une Give in to me- addict. Give in to me es una gran pero gran gran canción moy potente que sin lugar a dudas se debe en gran parte a la guitarra de Slash que hace de esta canción una pieza única, Michael comienza suavemente a interpretarla para luego utilizar toda la fuerza de su voz.
