Le grand patron d\u00e9cide la sortie rapide d\u2019un autre album qui se verra \u00e0 la h\u00e2te nomm\u00e9 tout simplement \u00abThe Third album\u00bb, pour cet opus il s\u00e9lectionne une ballade compos\u00e9e par Hal Davis (Directeur des studios Motown de la c\u00f4te Ouest), sur un texte de Willie Hutch et Berry Gordy lui m\u00eame. \u00abI\u2019ll be there\u00bb deviendra d\u00e8s lors le plus gros succ\u00e8s des Jackson Five et d\u00e9crochera pour quelques ann\u00e9es le statut de single le plus vendu de la firme Motown.<\/p>\n

Avec ce titre, ils \u00e9tabliront un autre record, celui du premier groupe \u00e0 placer quatre singles successifs \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re place du Billboard.<\/p>\n
