I'm not but a few yrs. younger than he was, & I well remember when "Thriller" came out, & everyone was amazed @ how every single song was absolutely amazing! I think Michael was absolutely so far ahead of his time, there will, without a doubt, NEVER be another musician/artist to even come close to replicating his musical success,(neither his songwriting, nor his voice), his fan-base (WORLDWIDE), & certainly not his dancing! (& all of that doesn't even touch on his millions of dollars in humanitarian aid)! There's so few musicians today, if ANY for that matter, that display such a stringent work ethic, & a perfectionist personality toward their work, & that was one thing that made Michael so extraordinary, not only in his musical career, but in EVERYTHING he did, including helping bring joy to disadvantaged children @ his Neverland Ranch, & most importantly to him, being a father. He was like so many geniuses however, he was too often misunderstood. Those who did misunderstand him, like most paparazzis, simply reacted by calling him crazy names,& writing their made up "smut", which is what sold their tabloids! They felt threatened, and in my opinion, simply didn't believe anyone was truly capable of being as genuinely kind and gentle as he was. All I can say to people like that is, SHAME ON YOU ALL! You caused lots of heartache to a very good soul.  Thank you Michael for simply being you, and bringing so much beautiful music, and such a beautiful spirit into a world that has,& ALWAYS WILL need more truly beautiful people in it, such as YOU. Thank you so much for all of your sacrifices,& in the end, I'm sorry to say, you made the ultimate sacrifice. To me, you're a hero. I'll always miss you.RIP Michael. You did it all for LOVE. Julia. |
