Michael Jackson - Fly Away

This song Michael cited (at his copyright hearing in 1994) he had written.

Originally recorded by Michael's sister Rebbie, for her 1998 album, Yours Faithfully, with Michael co-producing (with StoneBridge and Nick Nice) and singing backing vocals.

"That's simply a beautiful song," said Rebbie, speaking about Fly Away. "After Michael wrote it, he said he could hear me singing it. It's about not wanting to lose a relationship".

Michael's own version of the song was finally heard in October 2001, when it was one of the bonus tracks added to the expanded, special edition reissue of his album Bad. Rebbie's version, compared to this version, has extra backing vocals by Michael.

Oui chanson envoûtante et très bien interprété, même si la version sur la réédition n’est pas définitive et me semble être un peu faible au niveau rythmique, la mélodie est typiquement jacksonienne, les bases d’un titre d’une puissance particulière où la façon de chanter de Michael est encore une fois pris comme exemple. Les variations de ses vocalises sont sublimes et même la répétition du refrain laisse à penser qu’une version finale aurai été grandement enrichis de gimmick dont lui seul à le secret.

Chanson écrite au départ pour Rebbie la soeur de Michael.. Sortie par la suite sur la réédition de Bad. Je préfere d'ailleurs cette version chantée par mike. Mélodie tres douce, j'aime beaucoup.
