Michael Jackson - Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough

Written and recorded by Michael, for his first solo album after leaving Motown, Off The Wall, released in August 1979.

The lyrical content of this song shocked Michael's mother, Katherine, who pointed out the title could easily be misinterpreted! Michael asserted that it wasn't a reference to sex, but that it could mean whatever people wanted it to mean...

It was the lead single from the album as it heralded Michael's arrival as an adult solo performer, and paved the way for a new beginning to his musical career. The song hit no.1 on the Hot 100 in the US, giving Michael his first chart topper since Ben, and gave him his first no.1 on the R&B singles chart.

The promo music video was directed by Nick Saxton, premiering in October 1979.
