Song Jermaine recorded on 6th January 1972, with the Jackson 5 on backing vocals, for his solo debut album, titled simply Jermaine.

Jermaine's debut single, issued in August 1972 in the US and December 1972 in the UK - charted at no.23 on the R&B singles chart and no.46 on the Hot 100 in the US, but wasn't a hit in the UK.

It was performed by Jermaine, backed by his brothers, on Soul Train and The Flip Wilson Show in 1972.

An alternate version by the Jackson 5, with Jermaine and Michael sharing lead vocals, remains unreleased.
