Recorded by the Jacksons for their eponymous debut album, issued in November 1976.

It is the first Jacksons single to hit no.1 in the UK, where it was promoted twice on Top Of The Pops, with one performance taken from The Jacksons TV series. It was also performed on the Mike In Hollywood show in the US, and during a Destiny Tour concert screened on BBC2 in the UK.

Single version featured slightly alternate vocals. It charted at no.6 on the R&B singles chart and no.28 on the Hot 100 in the US.

A cover version by Danii Minogue (Kylie's sister) peaked at no.30 in the UK in 1992 - recorded for the charity album, Ruby Trax.

It was also covered by New Jack Swing band, Men of Vizion, for the Money Train sountrack and their debut album, Personal, both released in 1996.
