Michael Jackson - Love's Gone Bad (Original 1972 Mix)

Song the Jackson 5 recorded at least three versions of, one in 1972 and
two in 1973 – possibly for the album, SKYWRITER.

First version originally included on the album, BOOGIE, issued in
North America in January 1979 and quickly withdrawn. This version
also featured as a bonus track on the ‘2 Classic Albums on 1 CD’
reissue of SKYWRITER & GET IT TOGETHER.

Alternate version included on Michael’s LOOKING BACK TO
YESTERDAY album, issued in 1986, and released as a promo 7” single
in Canada only – a great rarity. This version was credited to Michael
solo, but used the same vocal take as the first version, with some
backing vocals omitted from the first verse.

Alternate take featured on Michael’s 1995 Anthology series
compilation, THE BEST OF… (no UK release). This take, by a much
younger Michael, is much less polished than the other two versions.
