Recorded on the 15th January 1973, but remained unreleased until it appeared - newly mixed - on Michael's album, Farewell My Summer Love, issued in May 1984 in the US and June 1984 in the UK.

A remix was included on Michael's 1987 album, The Original Soul Of Michael Jackson - scheduled release as a single in the US in October 1987 was cancelled, and the album's one previous unheard recording, Twenty-Five Miles, was issued instead.

The original 1973 version then featured on Michael's The Best Of... compilation - part of Motown's Anthology series, released in March 1995 in the USA, and now available on Hello World (The Motown Solo Collection).
