Rebbie Jackson - Centipede

Written and produced by Michael, for eldest sister Rebbie's debut album of the same name, released in 1984. Michael also sang backing vocals on the track.

Issued as Rebbie's debut single, achieving no.4 on the R&B singles chart and no.24 on the Hot 100, in the US. It failed to chart in the UK, despite being released twice.

Although she was the last Jackson sibling to enter the recording studio, Rebbie did tour with her brothers, and along with Janet and La Toya, she joined them for their TV series. "The first date I did with them," she recalls, "was in Vegas at The Grand Hotel, which was nice... I sang on several numbers like Midnight At The Oasis, when we did a TV seies in 1976, which Michael coached for me."
