Michael's version of Happy Birthday Lisa that was included in the first acetate version of the special, expanded edition of the Dangerous album. But this bonus disc was subsequently canceled by Sony.
Track featured on The Simpsons album, SONGS IN THE KEY OF SPRINGFIELD, issued in 1997.
Featured in the Simpsons episode titled "Stark Raving Dad", in which Michael guested.
For many years mystery surrounded Michael's involvement with the song, however, the albums sleeve credited copyright ownership of the song to Mijac Music – Michael's publishing company, which registered the song with the United States Copyright Office in September 1991.
It has been confirmed Michael – under the pseudonym John Jay Smith – voiced his character, but The Simpsons' version of "Happy Birthday, Lisa" was sung by sound-a-like, Kipp Lennon.
Michael was present when Lennon recorded his vocal: "This is kind of weird,’ said Lennon at the time, ‘he’s right next to me and I have to do him in front of everyone, on command!"
