Michael Jackson - Someone Put Your Hand Out

Written by Michael with Teddy Riley (who helped to change a verse in Michael’s original composition) and recorded in April 1992, having failed to make it on to Michael’s DANGEROUS album.

Released in the UK/Europe (but not USA) in May 1992, as a Pepsi exclusive, promo cassette single, to promote Michael’s up-and-coming world tour. 500,000 copies made available by collecting Pepsi tokens, as competition prizes, etc.

Also released as a special Pepsi promo pack in June 1992, in the UK/Europe – the package included a poster, giant sticker, press file about Michael’s world tour and the cassette single.

Issued as a promo CD single in Japan only.

Included on the compilation, SIGNATURE SERIES, released in the
States in 1992.

Featured on the first acetate version of the special, expanded edition of
Michael’s BAD – later withdrawn.

Included on Michael’s box-set, "THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION" released in November 2004.

He would say Childhood is the most personal song he ever wrote, but i disagree - this IS the single most open, truest and most important tune he penned. It's one of the deepest too. For all its simplicity in words and harmonies it hides a world and a lifetime of pain and loneliness and the love of millions of fans and all other kinds of love could never compensate the lack of ONE understanding heart near by in all ways and all days

Quel génie! meme pour nous les fans on a du mal a le suivre parfois tellement mike est polyvalent ! quel melodiste !! apres la soul,le funk,la pop ,le rock, le classique la on a droit a de la trompette jazzy (chose très rare dans ses titres) tu est un génie je t'aime et ce titre me fera toujours autant vibrer! va me rappel le dangerous tour que j'avais suivi en direct de bucarest a sur canal + en 92 ! quelle belle epoque!

a peach of a song, i remember when capital radio aired this song back in 1992 on the eve of the dangerous tour. A fantastic song, i have about 6 sealed promo tapes of this. I kept sending off for them.
