Song Michael recorded for his solo album, MUSIC & ME, issued in April 1973 in the States and July 1973 in the UK.

Released as a single in May 1974 in the UK – failed to chart (no USA release).
Live performance by the Jacksons, at a concert in Mexico in 1976, omitted from the home video, The Jacksons In Concert, released in 1981 in the UK (no USA release).

Album re-packaged, minus Doggin’ Around, and reissued in the UK in 1993 – this album was originally issued in the States in 1985, as MOTOWN LEGENDS.

i can really relate to this song. music has always been my best friend, i can always count on it to get me through the good and bad times. especially michael's music. i've always loved to sing and anyone who plays music or sings knows what this song is all about. it's that feeling of elation when you let that music out of you through whatever instrument you use. flying on the wings of melody and rhythm, you're free. it's just amazing. little mike's voice sounds so pure and beautiful. it's a very autobiographical song for him. xoxoxo, estela

this is probably one of the first mj songs i have ever heard (when watching moonwalker) so it reminds me of a lot of good memories. very special to me.. 10/10 out of pure emotion :P
