I think Michael felt like he was Suzie == his career, his childhood, murdered, slandered, killed in all the ways that he mentiones whenever Suzy is in a song. Especially here -- the child with the tune who sings at noon thas' him - he began singing in childhood with a tune and was murdered senselessly in the same way == blood on the dancefloor, blood in her hair... He was crying out his own painful story but no one came soon. He was abandoned.. no one to love or protect him or her--the paralells are remarkable. |
